Where to buy a Kindle
By Andy Cowan
Anyone who wants to get an electronic reader will of course think about where to buy a Kindle. This wireless reading device is currently becoming more and more popular. Amazon continue to reduce the price of the unit which is now available for under $200. The cheapest price that I have found online for the Amazon Kindle is from Amazon itself.

Until you actually see a Kindle screen for yourself it is hard to know exactly what it looks like. Of course from the many reviews available online it is possible to build up a picture in your head. I think it is rather strange. It is not a computer screen and it certainly is not a book in the traditional sense. However as technology marches on, when there is a chance to embrace this technological advancement to get something that is actually of benefit then it is a chance worth taking. If you get a Kindle reader for the best price you will be amazed not only by its electronic features but also the Kindle service. See below for more details.
What is the Kindle service?
I am not even going to discuss the technology side of this wireless reader here. You can find out more in this where to buy a Kindle review. What this reader offers us is the chance to read for free. That's right. Not read for cheap but rather at no cost! How is this possible? It is because there are so many texts that are now out of copyright. These are "books" that were written before 1923 which includes works such as Frankenstein, Alice in Wonderland, Sense and Sensibility and many more famous works of fiction. So although the cost of the Kindle reader itself is a couple of hundred dollars, once you have read twenty "free books" that are available for free download, you have made your money back on the cost of the unit. This definitely puts things into perspective and makes buying a Kindle electronic reader a very attractive option.
Kindle extras
There is just so much to these wireless readers that discussing them all in one article would make for a huge read. They are like iPods in some ways. This includes customizations. For example you can buy a Kindle cover to help protect it and also to provide appropriate styling.
